My name is Dave and this is just a little bit about me. I’m a simple yet complicated guy who loves Jesus and appreciates every day I get to spend with my wife and family. I’ve been married to a one-of-a-kind gal by the name of Tawnia for 26 years and she and I are blessed to have five terrific kids plus one very cool son-in-law.

I serve as pastor of a great church in a small town in Indiana and nothing brings me more joy than helping people in their relationship with God. Before becoming a pastor, I practiced law. As a lawyer, I discovered the benefit of continuing education, so at 54, I’m still in school, learning and working toward a Ph D (Biola University) so I can better serve the church.

One of my spiritual gifts is encouragement. I believe encouragement is something we all need a lot of, and that’s one of the reasons I started Devotions on the Run.
